Our doctors at SoLo Eye Care have experience co-managing thousands of patients that have underwent laser corrective vision surgery.  Several of our doctors and staff have had the procedure themselves and achieved excellent results.  We will be happy to share our experience with you.

Laser vision correction is not recommended for every patient.  Our patients undergo a free, comprehensive preoperative examination to rule out any possible contraindications to laser vision correction.  Your glasses or contact lens prescription must be stable and your eyes must be healthy prior to having this life changing procedure.

Before your preoperative appointment, it is important that your remove your soft contact lenses one week prior to your exam.  Contact lenses have been shown to alter the exact curvature of the front part of the eye and may affect our ability to determine your true prescription.  If you are a gas permeable contact lens wearer, please give our doctors a call to determine how long they would like you to remain out of your lenses prior to your appointment.

At SoLo Eye Care, our doctors only recommend the latest technology and surgical techniques for this procedure.  Not all LASIK procedures are the same.  Our doctors will be happy to take the time and explain the differences in these techniques so that you can make an educated decision.  Our doctors provide our patients with their personal contact information to walk you through any questions you may have regarding your preoperative or postoperative care.  For more information or to set up a free consultation, please call our office today.
